Sarah Briggs, Director of the Access and Enrollment Department in Chicago Public Schools. My life’s passion is supporting college and career preparedness and readiness. In my free time I love volunteering with our youth, especially when I have an opportunity to represent my alma mater, Jackson State University at college fairs. My 20+ years of teaching and counseling has truly broadened my knowledge and understanding of equity and empathy serving families and I have the honor of doing so alongside some of the most humble servant leaders in Chicago. My greatest accomplishment, is being Mom to my young adult son who graduated from the school system I have served for 19 years.
