As Director for the Office of Student Assignment + Records, Mr. Cory Edwards is responsible for providing leadership, support, and guidance to APS’s processes relative to enrollment & registration, student transfers, and student records management. 

Mr. Edwards has led the Office of Student Assignment + Records since 2015. He brings to this office a wealth of knowledge and experience in business administration and continuous process improvement. Under Mr. Edwards’s leadership, some of the key accomplishments of the Student Assignment & Records office include, transitioning APS from a paper-based registration process to an online registration system, implementation of a robust online school choice & lottery system for the district’s administrative transfer process, and establishing an online records management fulfillment system. He strongly believes in driving and modeling excellence in every aspect of work and has a strong passion in contributing to the development of others.

Mr. Edwards earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kaplan University and a Master’s of Business Administration from Texas A&M University. He is married to Tanishia and together, they are the proud parents of Desiree, Cory Jr. and Cortney.
