Whitney Zhang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at MIT. Her research examines the impact of new technologies, including generative AI, on labor, as well as policies affecting vulnerable populations of workers. Whitney graduated from MIT with an S.B. in Mathematical Economics in 2021.
