Biography

Susha Roy is an Associate Policy Researcher at RAND Corporation. She received her Ph.D. in Education Policy and Program Evaluation at Harvard University in 2023. She studies the economics of education, using quasi-experimental and experimental methods to explore how inequality manifests and persists through the education system and beyond. Her current research focuses on the impacts of school choice policies on social and economic inequality. Before pursuing her Ph.D., Susha helped launch an edtech company that expanded access to computer science education in over 200 high schools. Susha received a B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University and an M.A. in the Economics of Education from Columbia University, Teachers College.
