Russell is an Economics PhD student at MIT. His Blueprint research aims to understand and improve K-12 public school effectiveness. He first joined Blueprint as a Research Fellow supporting Josh Angrist and Parag Pathak. Russell graduated from the University of Chicago in 2022 with a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics. His research is supported by the PD Soros Fellowship and the NSF GRFP. Outside of work, he enjoys running, reading, and cooking.
