Rithika is a Predoctoral Researcher supporting Professors David Autor, Daron Acemoglu, and Simon Johnson. She graduated from Rice University majoring in Mathematical Economic Analysis and Mathematics. Rithika is interested in the economic implications of technological change – particularly its impact on inequality, occupations and expertise – social networks, and political economy. Her past research has explored the use of machine learning and AI to analyze economics journal publications and to assist research.
