Mohammad Al Hamdani was born and raised in Sana’a, Yemen. He came to the states as Fulbright Scholar from 2004-06 and went back to Yemen and taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) over 8 years. He came back and settled in the US in late 2014. He joined the NYCPS back in 2017 as a consultant. He advanced to a community coordinator in the Pre-K outreach team and served as such for over 5 years, ensuring NYCPS serves underprivileged communities and making sure they have direct access to early learn opportunities and programs they did not know existed. He now serves as a project manager at the Office of Student Enrollment’s 3-K and Pre-K team providing an equitable and accessible enrollment process to all communities of NYC.
