Michael J. Hobin is a Rhode Island educator who has served in various capacities within two school systems and the state education agency. He has worked as a physics teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Currently, he is the Director of College and Career Readiness at the Rhode Island Department of Education where he oversees adult education, computer science, dual and concurrent college enrollment, the All Course Network, the Seal of Biliteracy and career and technical education for all Rhode Island public schools. He is also an adjunct professor of education at Providence College. Residing in Cranston, he is the husband to Susan and father to Nicholas and Rebecca.
