Matt is the Senior Analyst for Planning, Enrollment, Analysis, and Real Estate at Denver Public Schools. In this role, he delivers critical insights into school choice processes, special education forecasting, enrollment trends, and facility utilization. With a robust background in K-12 education, Matt has previously held leadership positions in Southern Oklahoma, where he taught middle and high school, served as a principal, and later became the Director of Curriculum and Teaching. His expertise in analytics also includes a stint with the US Census, where he managed the American Community Survey and the Health Interview Survey for the Denver region covering 12 states. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government from the University of Texas, a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma, and a Master of Education in Public School Administration from East Central University. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, often found balancing duties with his wife as they chauffeur their three daughters to various clubs and activities.
