Kevin Shallcross is the Data Quality Manager at Chicago Public Schools, where he leads the technical implementation of the district’s redesigned accountability system across its 650+ schools. His work broadens traditional measures of school performance to include school practices, student experiences, and district supports. By building robust metrics, data infrastructure, and reporting tools, Kevin advances equity-driven resource allocation, supports continuous improvement, and empowers families with actionable school information. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering from the University of Michigan and resides in Chicago’s Edgewater community with his wife and daughter.
