Jacob Lambdin is the Manager, Spatial information for the Planning, Analysis and Real-Estate team at Denver Public Schools in Denver, Colorado- the largest school district in the state. He has been in this role for close to two years. In this role, Jacob manages all geographic database systems for the district while developing all maps used by various teams, conducting spatial analysis, and many other projects involving spatial data. Jacob holds a Master’s Degree in Business Analytics from the University of Denver’s Daniels School of Business, where he was honored as a Daniels Scholar. Jacob also has a B.S in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado where he was an Honors Student. Previously, Jacob worked in consulting where he primarily worked on projects involving modeling finances for jet-engine manufactures. He worked with the Denver Department of Transportation Infrastructure for his DU capstone project where he modeled construction cost indexes and analyzed ADA data. Outside of work, Jacob spends his time with friends and family, and being active through running and skiing.
