Gavin is a Policy and Communications Fellow assisting Professors Daron Acemoglu, David Autor, and Simon Johnson with research, policy, and communications efforts focused on workforce and labor economics. His main research interests lie in labor economics, industrial organization, and urban development. Gavin is passionate about translating technical research into resources that are practical and accessible for policymakers and the public. Prior to joining Blueprint Labs, he worked as a consultant at Bates White where he developed economic analyses for litigation in life sciences, antitrust, and energy. Gavin graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Mathematical Economics. Outside of work he spends his time cooking, enjoying live music, and rock climbing.
