Eryn Heying is the Executive Director of MIT Blueprint Labs, responsible for leadership and strategic direction of the organization’s research, administrative, fundraising, and communications activities. She has more than a decade of experience in education research and philanthropy at nonprofit organizations.

Prior to joining Blueprint, Eryn worked at the Siegel Family Endowment, where she helped develop an investment strategy for the Endowment’s education portfolio. She has also held roles contributing to large-scale quantitative and qualitative research projects at Harvard University and SRI International.

Eryn holds a BA in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an Ed.M. in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She enjoys spending time mentoring students in local area public schools.
