Anand Shah is a second-year PhD student at MIT, primarily researching topics in market design. He graduated with a B.S. Mathematics, B.A. Economics (with Honors) from the University of Chicago in 2021, where he was also awarded the Economics Department’s David S. Hu undergraduate thesis award. When he’s not thinking about micro theory, you can catch Anand on (and hopefully not in) the Charles, cycling around Cambridge, or taking a late night run to Taco Bell.
