Biography

Aishwarya Subramanian is a Senior Data Analyst on the Data Quality Management team within the Office of School Quality Measurement and Research at Chicago Public Schools. She supports the development and reporting of key postsecondary metrics, including college enrollment and persistence, early college and career credentials, AP/IB access, and student transitions into postsecondary pathways. Her work is focused on making school quality data more transparent, equity-centered, and useful for school leaders, families, and communities. Aishwarya was born and raised in India, where she saw many girls face real barriers to continuing their education. That experience shaped her lifelong commitment to equity and opportunity. She studied computer science and engineering before beginning her career in data systems, eventually moving to the U.S. to pursue a Master’s in Information Systems at Northeastern University. Before joining CPS, she worked in data analytics at Tata Consultancy Services, where she built strong technical and collaborative skills. Today, she brings that foundation into public education, where she is focused on building systems that help every student access meaningful pathways to success.
