50 Years After Busing Decision, a School System Still Unequal, Still Segregated

Fifty years after the Boston’s court-ordered busing decision, busing in Boston Public Schools shows little impact on students’ test scores and college enrollment. A new Boston Globe article features work by Blueprint Co-Directors Josh Angrist and Parag Pathak and Affiliate Clémence Idoux. Their research finds that while busing has led to more integration, it has not affected academic outcomes.
