Amy is an experienced educator and leader focused on helping education leaders meet their operational goals. She just joined the KIPP Foundation Team as Senior Director, Regional Operations and will support KIPP regions around the country meet their annual attendance and enrollment benchmarks. Prior to joining the Foundation, Amy spent 15 years with KIPP DC as an academic leader and more recently on the regional operations leadership team. In her most recent role as Managing Director of School Support & Service, Amy led the team responsible for enrolling and recruiting over 7,500 students annually. In this role she helped KIPP DC maintain their highest student enrollment numbers, systematize their processes to increase conversion by 33% and increased retention by five points. Prior to her work in education, Amy gained experience in client relations and account growth at Synapse Group, a division of Time Inc. She holds an Executive Master’s in Leadership from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Middlebury College, where she was a member of the NCAA Division I Alpine Ski Team. Her academic experience and 15 years competing as a competitive ski racer fuel her love for helping people succeed. Outside of work, Amy loves overscheduling her family and doing lots of activities. Her current interests include gardening, playing tennis and skiing. She resides in Massachusetts with her two children, bulldog and husband.
