Erika Treviño Alvarado

Policy and Communications Fellow

Biography

Erika is a Policy and Communications Fellow providing assistance to Professors Parag Pathak and Clémence Idoux as well as to the Policy and Communications Manager, Talia Gerstle. She works on Blueprint’s school assignment projects and helps develop research on the impact of centralized assignment mechanisms on school demographics and student achievement. She also supports communications and policy work on Education-related initiatives, such as the School Access and Quality (SAQ) Fellowship. Erika graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Mathematical Economics. Her main research interests lie in education economics, public policy, development economics, and IO. Outside of work, Erika misses her artistic swimming days back in college, but enjoys cooking, traveling, and walking around the city.
